Commonwealth Criminal Justice Academy (CCJA) is comprised of some the industry's best security professionals and Instructors. The training offered at CCJA is as varied as the professionals that provide the training. These experiences range from Private Security, Military, Law Enforcement, Civilian and PSD/WPPS contractors. The common thread among our staff is each instructor possesses the qualifications required by a nationally accepted or academic standard for certification as a General / Firearms Instructor.
All Instructors at Commonwealth Criminal Justice Academy are active security professionals so the instructor not only teaches the material but also practices it in the field. This provides the student with the ability to get text book information that has been tempered in real world experience.

Mobile Training Team
CCJA has a mobile training team, our team has the ability to visit any training facility and bring our courses to you.
At CCJA we recognize that "time is money"; therefore, when you do not have the time to bring students to our facilities, CCJA will bring the training to you or the facility of your choice. Often times it is more cost effective to bring the instructor cadre to your facility then bear the expenses of housing feeding and transporting your team or students.

Custom Course Development
Our approach to custom training development and delivery ensures you get the most appropriate training solutions for your company, team or organization. Sure, you can choose from a wide variety of off-the-shelf, cookie cutter courses. You can even outsource to training schools claiming custom courseware capabilities. But isn't learning about more than just courseware? Your training objectives are as unique as your business and its culture. Hosting a Training Course
Hosting our training courses is easy. This can be done in one of two ways.
- A group, organization or club can host a course at the CCJA training facility. Contact us to schedule the date of the course. The host with the assistance of CCJA will recruit the minimum number of students needed for the course between 5/10 depending on the type of course. Free training slots will be awarded to the host based on the number of students paid/enrolled with a minimum of one free slot and a maximum of 5 depending on the type/size of the course.
- A group, organization or club can host a course at their location facility/range. Contact us to schedule the date of the course. The host with the assistance of CCJA will recruit the minimum number of students needed for the course between 5/10 depending on the type of course. Free training slots will be awarded to the host based on the number of students paid/enrolled with a minimum of one free slot and a maximum of 5 depending on the type/size of the course.

Free Training
We are giving away several FREE Training Courses and spots in courses this year to Law Enforcement Officers or Agencies or Deploying Military units from across the country. If you are in need of training in Armoring, Handgun, Shotgun, Carbine / Patrol Rifle, Instructor Development, Active Shooter courses, or training, please contact us directly. We will also be offering some free slots in some of our home based courses in Virginia. Or the easiest way to get free training is to host a course.

In accordance with International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) Regulations, only U.S. Citizens will be accepted to participate in CCJA Tactical courses.
